Teloscope's prices, dividends and earnings come from a third-party market data provider. A free account with the provider gives you your own key, so your data comes straight from the provider to your device. The app's welcome steps show you where to sign up. Copy the API key from your account, then open Save & Security from the Home menu and enter it under Market Data.

Open the Home menu and tap the Stocks icon. Your saved positions stay saved even if you stop tracking a stock.

Every time you open the app, and automatically every five minutes during regular U.S. market hours while Teloscope is on screen. You can also pull down to refresh. iOS doesn't let apps download while they're in the background or the phone is locked. Earnings and P/E update once a day, and dividends weekly, or daily when a dividend date is close.

Check that your data key is entered and that you're online. Free keys have daily request limits and only cover certain symbols; a symbol outside the provider's free list may need a paid plan from the provider. The API Log shows recent requests and any errors. The last data downloaded stays available offline.

Yes. Everything you've entered and the last downloaded market data are available without a connection. Refreshing needs internet.

Open Save & Security and choose Create Backup. A Portable Backup is protected by a recovery password you choose and can be restored on any device. A Keychain Backup uses a key that syncs through iCloud Keychain, so it restores on your devices signed in to the same Apple Account. Both use AES-256 encryption. Save the file wherever you like, such as Files or iCloud Drive.

Teloscope never stores it, so a portable backup can't be opened without it, and we can't recover it. Make a new backup while you still have your data on the device.

Backups hold only what you entered. Downloaded market data is left out and downloaded again after a restore. Your data key, backup passwords, privacy controls and App Lock setting aren't included either, so you'll re-enter your key after restoring on a new device.

Yes. Turn on Face ID or Touch ID App Lock in Save & Security. Teloscope also hides its contents in the app switcher.

Yes. Teloscope Pro is an auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple Account. It renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Teloscope. Apple handles all billing, cancellations and refunds; we can't change or refund a subscription for you. If you cancel, Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for. Your stocks and data stay saved, and you're back to the free plan's limits.

Sign in with the same Apple Account and restore purchases in Teloscope. Your subscription carries over, and you won't be charged again.

No. The provider's free plan costs nothing. If you choose a paid plan, you buy it from the provider directly.
