Terms of Use

Teloscope for iPhone and iPad · Effective November 6, 2026

In short: Teloscope is a tool for organizing your own finances. Its figures are estimates, not advice. Market data comes from a third party and may be delayed or wrong. Teloscope Pro renews automatically until you cancel in your Apple Account settings. Keep your own backups.

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Teloscope LLC (“we”, “us”), the provider of the Teloscope app (“the app”). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

These Terms are between you and us only, not Apple. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the app and its content.

2. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the app, except as the law allows. We keep all rights not expressly granted.

3. Not financial advice

Teloscope is an organization and calculation tool. Portfolio values, gains, dividends, income, tax and loan figures are estimates based on what you enter and on third-party data. Tax estimates assume a single filer and use built-in rates that may be out of date. Nothing in the app is financial, investment, tax, lending or legal advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Check important numbers yourself and consult a qualified professional before making decisions.

4. Market data

Prices, dividends, earnings and related data come from third-party providers. That data may be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate, and it may be unavailable at times. We don't guarantee it and aren't responsible for it.

If you enter your own data-provider key, you're responsible for complying with that provider's terms, including its usage limits and any fees. Your agreement with that provider is separate from these Terms.

6. Your information

What you enter stays on your device, as described in our Privacy Policy. You're responsible for your device, its passcode, and any backup files and recovery passwords you create. We can't recover a lost backup password or data that exists only on a lost device.

7. Acceptable use

Don't use the app to break the law, to infringe anyone's rights, or to interfere with the app or with any data provider's service.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent the law allows, the app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement. If the app fails to conform to any warranty that the law requires and can't be excluded, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any, of the app. To the fullest extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app. Any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses from a failure to conform to a warranty are our responsibility, to the extent not effectively disclaimed under these Terms.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, investment losses, lost data or decisions made based on the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

10. Claims and support

We, not Apple, are responsible for maintenance and support of the app, and for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to it, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, consumer protection or privacy claims, and claims that the app infringes someone's intellectual property. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.

11. Legal compliance

You confirm that you aren't located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you aren't on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

12. Third-party terms

When you use the app, you must also follow any third-party agreements that apply, such as your wireless carrier's terms and your data provider's terms.

13. Apple as third-party beneficiary

Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. Once you accept them, Apple has the right, and is deemed to have accepted the right, to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

14. Ending these Terms

You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or end your license if you break these Terms. Sections 3, 4, 8, 9, 10 and 15 survive.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of your place of residence requires otherwise.

16. Changes

We may update these Terms. We'll post the new version on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
